08.2.2012 New Glasses! I know, of course that things, made of plastic and glass or wood or wool or leather or cotton can’t and won’t actually make me happy, but- when you’ve come home after five wonderful, life affirming, encouraging, full-of-wonderful-and-like-minded-people, and, it has to be said, exhausting days away and you’re loving being home but are noticing the wee hole in you that your new/old reality has left, a new pair of glasses arriving is bound to frickin thrill you right up the wall. Particularly if you’re me.  Particularly if they’re the coolest things in the entire everything.
