12.4.2012 Mucus cheese
Dear friends I haven’t seen for many years came to visit with their teeny little daughter. So I cooked risotto and we ate and stuff and it was lovely, then we went to our local Turkish sweet shop for dessert. And Kate picked a plate of this sweet cheese business and we all tried to eat it and became confused and compared it to things like glue and fairy floss and eventually gave up. But it was a good night and I didn’t get a picture of Kate and Tim and lovely Gracie so here is a picture of the glue-cheese-floss that brought us together.

We saw the Hunger Games and had hot chocolates and laughed at Peeta and I like her and the joy with which she poured her magic chai from her magic chai cup.

So, all of you who’ve been paying careful and awed attention to my life, you will of course remember that last month I went to a conference. And there, you see, I met a lot of marvellous people.
One of these, was Katie.
She is, straight up, the best. Ever. Of anything. In the world and all of the times.
Ok, oversold it, but she is pretty effing rad and is one of the most stupidly, side-splittingly, I’m-concerced-I’m-going-to-hurt-myself-any-moment-on-account-of-the-laughing-ly funny people I’ve ever met.
