11.12.2011 Commissioned  So The Salvation Army, while great, is not really my scene. But I went along to their commissioning service today to cheer loudly and proudly for my two friends Kris and Megs, who’ve put in some serious blood sweat and tears to get to this point and who will make the Army a much better one. They’re just magnificent, gutsy and entirely rad people, have gone through innumerable trials to follow their hearts and at least in the case of one, have been told many times that this day would never come.  You people make me proud of my race.
